Welcome to St Alban's RC High School

Mr Michael Coady, Head TeacherSt Alban’s is a small high-quality Catholic school with a large, thriving Sixth Form (700 students11-16 + 360 in the Sixth Form). The school serves the Catholic parishes and the wider Christian community of North Gwent. However, the school opens its doors in the Sixth Form to youngsterswho share our ethos and values and who would prefer their post-16 education to be in a very caring, supportive and challenging environment

We are very proud that St Alban’s has established a reputation for high standards and high achievement. Our aim is not simply to provide an outstanding academic and vocational education, but to develop in our students an understanding of, and respect for, spiritual and moral values within a caring, Christian community. The school’s success is based on real Christian commitment and ethos, high ambition and high standards, good discipline and a very active involvement in charitable works
